Privacy policy

Your mail does not become Collabma data.

Collabma is a local Chrome extension for approved Google Groups Collaborative Inboxes. Google Workspace remains the only mail system, and Collabma has no data server operated by its developers.

Summary

Collabma improves the presentation of exact Google Groups Collaborative Inboxes approved by administrators and offers shortcuts initiated by users to visible native Google Groups controls.

Collabma has no server or database operated by its developers, analytics service, advertising system, telemetry, tracking pixel, webhook or remote executable code. Collabma’s publisher, David Dickson operating under TrulineX, and its technical organization, Truline X, IT Solutions, do not receive extension usage data, Google Groups message data, Google account data or Chrome profile identity data.

Information handled locally

  1. Chrome profile email address. Chrome supplies the primary account email for the current profile. Collabma compares its domain with the Workspace domain approved by administrators. The address stays in page memory for the current authorization state and is not transmitted by Collabma or written to local storage.
  2. Google Groups page structure. On groups.google.com, Collabma examines exact route patterns, structural row roles, supported unread indicators, visible dialog or menu state and a small list of permitted native assignment and status control labels.
  3. Local preferences and authorization marker. Chrome local storage keeps the consent choice, Native or Clean view preference, a temporary disclosure request and, only after consent, a numeric timestamp for sign in changes containing no email or account identifier.
  4. Policy managed by administrators. Read only managed settings supply an organization identifier, approved Workspace domain, exact operational Group identities and exact security or access Group exclusions.
  5. Explicit shortcut activity. When a user selects a shortcut, Collabma verifies and clicks the matching visible native Google Groups control. Collabma keeps no independent action log.

Information Collabma does not collect

  • Message subjects, senders, recipients, bodies, attachments or reply text
  • Gmail messages or Google Groups message content
  • Drive, Sheets, CRM, Calendar, Contacts or Chat data
  • OAuth access or refresh tokens
  • Browsing history outside the matched Google Groups page
  • Passwords, payment details, location, device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Group membership lists, aliases, notification settings or mail routing configuration

Use and disclosure

The locally handled information is used only to enable the clean view and native action shortcuts for the correct managed Workspace profile and approved Groups. It is not sold, used for advertising or credit decisions, combined with independent datasets, or made available for humans to read through Collabma.

Google is the only external service involved in the shortcut workflow. A shortcut initiated by a user clicks a native Google Groups control that is already visible on the same page, so Google processes the chosen action under the organization’s existing Google agreement and settings.

Chrome permissions

storageSaves consent and view preferences, a temporary disclosure request and a timestamp for sign in changes after consent; reads policy managed by administrators after consent.
identityUses Chrome’s profile identity API. Collabma does not request an OAuth token.
identity.emailReturns the primary Chrome profile email so its domain can be compared with the approved Workspace domain.
groups.google.comLimits the content layer to Google Groups.

The release has no Gmail, Groups API, Admin SDK, Drive, Sheets, mail sending, notifications, cookies, history, debugger, downloads, access to all sites or permission for remote code.

Retention and control

Before affirmative consent, Collabma reads only its local disclosure and view settings. It does not inspect the current Group route, start route polling, read managed Group policy, request the Chrome profile email or write the timestamp for sign in changes.

After consent, the profile email and current authorization state exist only in browser memory and are cleared when policy or identity changes, the page closes, the extension is disabled or authorization fails. Users can select Native view, disable Collabma, clear extension data or uninstall the extension. Workspace administrators control installation, policy, Group access, membership, routing, retention, notifications and Google audit logs.

Limited Use commitment

Collabma uses information only for its stated purpose for users; does not transfer it except as necessary for that purpose, legal compliance or security; never uses it for personalized advertising; and does not permit humans to read user data through Collabma except where separately authorized for specific support, required by law or necessary to investigate abuse.

Changes and contact

Material changes to data handling or permissions require a new extension version, updated Store disclosures and an updated policy date before release.
